Born and raised in Pasadena, California, and a musician since the days singing along with the radio in the back of my Moms car.
These days the list is longer — Musician, Producer, Actor, Father, Husband, Political Activist, Creator. I make art and try to communicate my view of the world through art. I’d say it beats dots and dashes.
30 years writing and performing music. Currently a full time touring musician. Written songs for Robben Ford, music in TV and film scores. Shared stages and studios with Gil Scott-Heron to Vinny Calliuta. Also a guest instructor at Berklee School of Music.
9 self-produced albums. Production on countless songs and records. Currently producing a record for poet and educator, Gill Sotu. Recently scored the short film, Throw The Dog A Bone, which appeared in the Los Angeles Pan African Film Fest.
Wrote, produced and directed his first one-man show, Soul Troubadour, in 2013. Currently the subject of the Aught Media produced full-length movie, Soul Troubadour. His follow-up one-man show #shutitdown will be debuting soon.
